Nail down your core brand story in my 8-week, live, group program!
You crave authenticity and want to show up authentically in business but what exactly should you share with your audience?
You DON’T want to brag or share random tidbits that confuse your audience, or worse, turn them off from working with you.
I know exactly how you feel because I felt the same way – and I had been in corporate marketing for nearly a decade before opening my marketing strategy business, so I felt immense embarrassment and shame that I didn’t automatically know how to do this.
It wasn’t long before I realized the key difference between marketing for someone else and marketing myself was the emotion involved. What a night-and-day difference!
I was on the verge of closing my business because I was so tired of riding the roller coaster of frustration trying to figure out how to present myself to my audience effectively, but without feeling slimy or pushy. I told my husband that if this is how running a business feels, then I was willing to let go of this life-long dream. He told me to give it one more shot. Reluctantly, I agreed. It was then that I believe God showed up and gave me an ‘a ha’ moment that storytelling was the answer.
Then, I spent a year of studying storytelling from Hollywood, entrepreneurs, and business writers, creating my own system specifically for business owners to learn how to confidently and clearly communicate what an audience needs and wants - while enjoying it!
Don’t feel bad that storytelling for business doesn’t come naturally. It’s a skill but hardly anyone teaches it. Many stand on the sidelines and tell you to do it, but few actually teach a process of how to do it well.
When you enter my program, you don’t need to have any idea what to include in your brand story. We start from the ground floor. No need to feel nervous or unprepared, just get excited!
When you think of your core brand story, does it feel impossible that a single story would be able to help someone truly get to know you - your struggles, successes, and the journey that has shaped who you are, the way you think, and why you’re the right choice to help them with your area of specialty?
But isn’t that exactly what you try to learn about someone else before plunking down a significant amount of cash with them? You probably ask yourself questions like,
“Can she truly understand where I’m at and why I struggle with this?”
“Will he really be able to help me get the results I need?”
“If there is a problem, will they be kind and helpful or not even care?”
That is exactly why you need a clear-cut, streamlined brand story. It will do the heavy lifting for you in the most authentic, non-salesy way possible.
But where would you even begin and how can you bring together the most significant yet completely different experiences that have shaped you without feeling like a confusing, rambling mess?
Life is messy. It is not a clear-cut, linear journey.
Maybe you feel like a lot of your story is boring or boastful and will turn people away from your business instead of drawing them to you.
My method will walk you through a process, step-by-step, that teaches you how to recall more of your life’s experiences, determine which are most important to share with your audience, and how to share them in a streamlined, articulate story that allows your audience to re-experience those moments with you, connecting with their hearts while showing how you are uniquely qualified to help them.
One of my previous students told me that prior to joining my program, she had written and re-written her brand story at least 15 times in the span of a year, frustrated and exhausted that it never felt solid. On our final group call, she shared that she finally had a peace that it now feels just right.
If you want help uncovering the hidden gold of your journey and the most effective way to put the pieces together for your audience, join me for this one-of-a-kind, live, group class starting the 3rd week of January 2020.
I only have 18 spots, which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
I may not open enrollment again for another six months, so you do not want to miss this opportunity!

Session 1:
- Story strategy teaching
- Hot seat with everyone on call to make sure each person is clear on their individual strategy
Homework from session 1:
- Go through an exercise that I’ll send you, which uses a biographer’s approach to identify a ton of great morsels throughout your life that help people understand who you are and why – some may be experiences you completely forgot or didn’t realize were relevant. ($997 value)
Session 2:
- Story structure teaching
- If you completed the homework, you will get a hot seat with me to dig deeper into your responses from the homework and together we will discuss which experiences may be best to include for each piece of your story arc, based on the strategy you identified during the first session.
Homework from session 2:
- Write the rough draft of your story and post in the group.
- Review at least one of the other group member’s stories. I will provide the exact criteria you need to review someone else’s story. (Reviewing someone else’s story with my criteria will solidify the process for you – which will help you with every story you ever craft.) ($$Priceless)
Session 3:
- If you completed your rough draft on time and reviewed at least one other group member’s story, you’ll get a hot seat with me to help you revise your story.
Homework from session 3:
- Write a revised draft of your story and post in the group.
- Review at least one of the other group member’s stories using my criteria to further solidify the concept and process for you – which will help you with every story you ever craft.) (Again, $$Priceless)
Session 4:
- If you completed your revised draft and reviewed at least one other group member’s story, you’ll get a hot seat with me to help you finalize your story and answer any remaining questions, so that you feel confident with your completed core brand story.
FAQs
1. Homework policy: If you don’t have time to do the homework, then this isn’t the right class for you. I can only help mold your story if you do the exercises. We will meet every other week, so you will have approximately 10 days after each session to complete the homework and submit it to the group, giving ample time to review at least one other group member’s story. This class requires your participation to be valuable.
2. Questions between sessions: If you get stuck between sessions (not simply wanting your hot seat before the scheduled session) but legitimately stuck on how to compete your work, contact me within three days of the previous session, so you can get unstuck and have plenty of time to craft your story.
3. Schedule conflict: If you can’t make it to a scheduled session, no worries! Each session will be recorded. As long as you do the work, you can send me your specific questions in advance and I will answer them along with providing my feedback on your story during the recorded session, so you can listen as soon as you’re available.
4. Course platform: We will have a private Facebook group where you can interact with others in the class, share insights, ask questions, and submit your work. Our class sessions will be held on Zoom.
5. Refund policy: Once we start the first session, I will no longer provide a refund but am happy to provide a pro-rated credit toward one of my other products or services.
6. Vulnerability policy: Everything you share inside this class is a gift and will be treasured by all members and me. Know that you are in a safe place with your questions and sharing about your life’s experiences. If anyone speaks negatively into what someone else shares, it will not be tolerated. That person will be asked to leave the group without a refund or a pro-rated credit. Each person must respect the others and the experiences they share. No haters allowed!
7. Confidentiality policy: Each member must keep confidential all information shared unless they receive express permission from the person whose story they want to share.
